The event was planned to gather all the graduates, interns, and apprentices from all our customers brands for the first time ever.  

Due to the pandemic the event was to be run virtually and was an opportunity for the audience to engage with senior members of the Executive team, including the CEO and CFO.

The overall objective was to provide business updates to the audience and have them leaving motivated and proud to be part of the team. We needed to provide a solution that was both engaging and interactive, including opportunity for live Q&A across 3 countries.


The event was a huge success! 


Our dedicated Events team worked with our customer from the outset to make sure their event’s objectives were met, and expectations exceeded wherever possible to create the upmost memorable day.

A fresh and innovative virtual event.

A virtual event for graduates, apprentices & interns across all our customers – the world’s largest international TV and broadband company - brands, including Virgin Media. As the audience was predominantly of graduate age, they wanted to deliver something fresh and innovative to showcase the business and its creativity. 

The event was to include full conference content throughout the day with a live plenary session from the CEO. Target audience was approximately 500 attendees based in the UK, Netherlands, Poland.

Event Executive, International TV and Broadband company


As this event was the first time this audience had been together, and were attending from 3 different countries, there was a mix of live and pre-recorded, along with live Q&A and several speakers, some of whom were at a very senior level, so rehearsal and technical testing time was very limited.


There were lots of moving parts that needed to be allocated for, so we built a stringent contingency plan in case of any outages.   

We also had just under one month from idea to delivery which meant hitting every deadline was paramount to ensuring a smooth event on the day.

Using our in-house tool, we were able to provide a solution that met all the objectives:

  • We built a delegate registration website including QR codes to invite all the delegates to register and download our bespoke app.

  • We were then able to send push notifications to the attendees to keep them engaged prior to the event taking place. 

  • We worked with our customer to provide a fully branded and bespoke platform which enabled us to use a mixture of live and pre-recorded messages along with the live functionality for the Q&A sessions. 

  • As they wanted the event to be as interactive as possible, so we included the use of virtual breakout rooms, allowing the audience to split into smaller workshop groups and then feedback into the main plenary. 

  • Our dedicated Events team worked with the organisers prior to the event, utilising our Project Management plan and were on hand throughout to ensure a smooth-running event and deal with any queries that arose on the day.
