U.K. to Charge £10 for New Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA).
From 15 November 2023, the U.K. government is set to launch the new Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) system formed as part of its digitisation of the country's border to "further enhance border security and the customer experience." ETA is a new requirement for people who do not need a visa to come to the UK. It gives you permission to travel to the UK, and it is electronically linked to your passport.
