Our Assistant Events Team Manager, Claire Garlick, has been named on the inaugural C&IT Agency A-List Alumni 2023.
The list of alumni event planners celebrates past winners of the prestigious annual A-List, who have gone above and beyond in their careers.
As a two-time A-Lister, being named on both the 2017 and 2022 lists, Claire has exhibited incredible work ethic, creativity and innovative thinking, and continues to excel in the events industry.
Caroline Medcalf, our Director of Venue Find & Events said of the news: “We are absolutely over the moon for Claire for making C&IT’s inaugural A-List Alumni. She is so deserving of the recognition.
“Having been with the team for nearly 19 years, she works with some of our largest customers and our most prestigious events, while still supporting and mentoring her team. She remains incredibly calm under pressure whilst always retaining a great sense of fun, the team love working with her, and she always gets fantastic feedback from our customers. I am incredibly proud that Claire is in our Events team, I know we are lucky to have her.”
Claire joins 20 other elite planners to have earned a place on the Alumni A-List, which will now run every year, featuring past winners who continue to excel in the events industry.
Speaking after the most recent A-Lister achievement in 2022, Claire said: “The nomination was a complete surprise for me, and I’m thrilled to secure a place on the C&IT Agency A-List. I’ve spent my career working within the meetings and events industry, so it is fantastic for all my accumulated experience to be recognised. This award will now have pride of place alongside the CN 30 under Thirty accolade.“
The A-List photoshoot for all the lucky alumni will be held on Tuesday 6 June and the winners party will be held on Wednesday 12 July at a luxury London venue which will be announced shortly.
