Agiito kick-off a new charity partnership with Macmillan.

Last week we kicked off our new 2022 charity partnership with a packed agenda of fundraising activities, raising a phenomenal launch-week total of over £1,800 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Kirsty Given, Director of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability at Agiito said: “We wanted to choose a charity that was close to the hearts of our people, so we ended 2021 by asking everyone at Agiito to nominate an organisation they’d like to support. The response was overwhelmingly in favour of Macmillan, a wonderful charity that provides physical, emotional, and financial support to help those with cancer live life as fully as they can.

“We’ve hit the ground running with a fantastic launch week of bake sales, sweepstakes, and a couple of brave the shaves but there a lot more to come throughout the year”.

Hannah Lumb-Smith, Regional Fundraising Manager at Macmillan Cancer Support said.

"Here at Macmillan, we want to make sure everyone with cancer is treated like a person and not just a patient. I know that after speaking to Agiito’s community team, who are organising everything behind the scenes, there are some fantastic activities planned and I’m really excited to be working alongside you. 97% of our income comes from fundraising so we couldn’t do the work that we do without your support”.
