Our people are sharing their events and sustainability expertise with respective committee positions for Beam, the trade association for the business events, accommodation and meetings sector.
Kelly Tregale, our Venue Find and Events Account Manager who has been involved with the association since 2019, officially joined Beam’s Event business Action Group to support larger events and raise her own knowledge.
As well as offering her event planning expertise, Kelly represented beam on her first panel session at the London Summer Event Show, talking about navigating relationships.
“Getting involved with the Beam’s Event business Action Group has given me the opportunity to share my knowledge, develop my own learnings and tackle industry issues together. I look forward to making their events a success and helping with the reputation of the association,” said Kelly.
Another colleague who will be representing Agiito as the Beam committee is our sustainability expert, Dana Moore, who has joined the Sustainability Action Group as a board member.
“As Agiito’s sustainability lead, I've been focused on driving sustainable inclusive practices across the travel meetings and events industry and will use this action group to offer my own expertise and share best practices with other action group members to grow both my own knowledge and support Beam members on their journey to become environmentally sustainable,” Dana commented.
The Sustainability Action Group are holding their inaugural Sustainability Forum on 24 May at the Studio in Birmingham, with an aim to create awareness, inspire, and empower members and the wider communities on how to successfully implement impactful environmental initiatives.
