So, that's a little about us, what about you?

Take a look at how we help organisations and their people connect for business and let us know if there's anything we can do to help you.

Our exec team.

We're the best at connecting people and that starts at the very top. Meet our fearless leaders; they plot our path forward and walk every step of it with us. Rather than spin you the conventional Exec script, here's a few things you might not know about them...

Here's what makes us, us.

We’re a UK travel, meeting and event specialist, and we’re experts in connecting people - in person and virtually.

We’re a fun bunch and we love what we do.

Formerly known as Capita Travel and Events and NYS, we’ve been connecting people for years (since 1972 to be exact). Over the years, we’ve built a team of creative minds, innovators and problem-solvers, living and breathing our vision, promise and values every day - it's what makes us who we are.

We help organisations to connect with their people. We do this by understanding your culture, people and customers. We help control costs while protecting the wellbeing of people, to provide the most effective approach for travel, meetings and events.

From booking a rail ticket to managing multi-million-pound travel programmes, sourcing a symphonic orchestra to an unforgettable event experience on the African plains, we’re a team of creative minds, innovators and problem solvers.

Donna Fitzgerald, CEO

I’ve been with Agiito through most of its journey over the past 30 years, holding a number of positions with Lonsdale Travel and Capita Travel and Events across Operations, Account Management, Customer Solutions and recently leading our Business Development and Bid teams before joining the Exec team as COO and now as interim CEO.

Fun fact:

I was a competitive gymnast up to the age of 20, I know, hard to believe but I have the medals and trophies to prove it!

Carl Law, CTO

Whilst I've always been involved in writing code/software, it hasn't always been my job! It mainly started as a hobby at 14, and I still can't believe I get paid to do what essentially was/is my hobby! Before getting into technology professionally and ending up here, I spent many years working in Finance/Insurance across a variety of roles - endowment complaints handler, financial advisor assistant within a call centre, MI/Report Developer, Ops management of a MI, Governance and Development team - I then decided to focus purely on technology, came to what was NYS and the rest is history so to speak.

Fun fact:

It's no secret that I'm a technology geek! However, you might not know that I am a 1st Dan black belt holder in Taijitsu and Judo (albeit a little out of practice) and teaching them was my job for a bit of time while I transitioned through several jobs, working out what I wanted to do with my career. I also met my wife during training as we were both students at the time.

Steve Banks, CCO

So apart from a ‘brief sabbatical’, I’ve been with the business for 26 years starting with Lonsdale Travel, and have since worked across a variety of areas including Operations, Account Management, Sales and Sports Travel. It’s fair to say, I’m very passionate about the business travel sector and the solutions we provide to customers. I’m also a big advocate of what the industry stands for, so enjoy working with various trade bodies such as ITM, BTA and anything customer facing with regards to travel.

Fun fact:

A little tenuous, but I once gave fashion advice to David Beckham.

Our responsibilities.

We’re committed to being a responsible business, from the welfare of our people to the trees in our rainforests. Here’s just a handful of the things we do.

Come and meet our fearless leaders.

Fluid.

We adapt to any situation and with speed and decisiveness.

We are forward-looking, original thinkers hungry for innovation and excellence.

We always question what can be done better and act on our ideas.

We enjoy the journey we’re on, no matter what comes our way.

Our enthusiasm for pushing boundaries inspires others.

Spirit.

We explore what is best for the company.

We do it with wonder and curiosity, challenging the status quo.

Our positivity stems from our enthusiasm for what we do.

We are human and we make time to have fun.

Grit.

We’re determined to succeed.

Even when we fail, we pick ourselves up and carry on stronger than before.

We’re there in the moment and give everything our full commitment and attention.

We own it. If we make mistakes, we admit them, learn from them and continue to improve.

Flourish.

We inspire and empower others with our thirst for excellence and improvement.

We develop, contribute and celebrate together.

We build and share our knowledge with each other.

We make time to help our colleagues succeed, without ego or judgement.

We're open about our values, we live and breathe them in everything we do.

They're the north star that guides us, sets out how we want to see the world and how we want to be seen by it. They ensure we speak with a ‘single voice’ across our business, no matter what we're doing or who we're doing it for.

Our values.

Real.

We say it as it is and we’re not afraid to speak out, even if it makes us uncomfortable.

We put effort into doing the best we can, take responsibility for all our actions and have each other’s backs.

We may be straight talkers, but we are also considerate and respectful.

We are genuine, honest and true to ourselves and our values.

We only say things about fellow colleagues that we would say to their face.
