Our Facilities Manager, Michelle Bielecki, has been crowned the nation’s Community Hero at the Travel Trade Gazette’s (TTG) Top 50 Travel Agency Awards 2022.
Michelle’s efforts to find ‘greener’ solutions for redistributing unused office furniture and equipment whilst generating vital funds for Emmaus, a homeless charity in Manchester, saw off competition from four other travel industry professionals to win her the award.
Her work over the last year with charities, community groups and refurbishment companies avoided hundreds of items being sent to landfills unnecessarily.
The awards ceremony took place at The Vox, Birmingham and the accolade joins Agiito's Local Heroes award, which Michelle also won the Agiito for these sustainability initiatives.
