We are supporting a major drive to attract new talent into business travel with six representatives from Agiito joining the industry’s latest campaign: Business Travel Ambassadors.

The campaign will give a platform to those from all different stages of their careers in the industry to share their stories, in order to raise the profile of business travel and encourage potential candidates to pursue a career in the sector.

Launched in September 2022 at the Business Travel People Awards, one of the first members to be selected was our Venue Find Operations Manager, Georgia Suttie, who won the Rising Star award. Georgia will be joined by Steve Banks (Agiito’s Chief Commercial Officer), Lisa Newby (Agiito’s Account Manager), Zoe Keetley-Bowditch (Agiito’s Team Manager), Molly Winterton (Agiito’s Customer Success Manager) and Sarah Maia (Agiito’s PR/Media Relations Manager).

Spearheaded by The Business Travel Magazine and supported by the BTA, ITM and GBTA, the Business Travel Ambassador initiative is in direct response to the talent shortage being faced by companies across the whole eco-system.

"The support for the campaign has been amazing, particularly among TMCs.”

Bev Fearis, Editor of The Business Travel Magazine.

“The enthusiasm has demonstrated that the people who work in our industry are truly passionate about it and how a career in business travel can be rewarding, fulfilling and - most importantly - fun.

"I look forward to working with all the Business Travel Ambassadors over the coming months to help raise the profile of our sector and attract the best talent. There's a lot of work to be done, and I know we're not the only industry facing a talent shortage, but I have every confidence that our campaign can make a difference and will help secure a bright future for business travel".
